As we look ahead to the 2027 #sligochessfestival, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to the team at the The Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone.
Over the past four festivals, the The Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone has been an outstanding partner, providing professionalism, flexibility, hospitality, and unwavering support for our event, our players, and our visitors. The festival would not be where it is today without the contribution of Matthew, Jackie, Emily, and the entire hotel team.
As the festival continues to grow, we have made the decision to move to a new venue for 2027 to accommodate expanded chess and cultural programming and to make the event more accessible to the wider public. While we are excited about this next chapter, we are equally grateful for the role the The Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone has played in helping us build the festival over the years.
Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and partners. We leave with nothing but appreciation and fond memories, and we look forward to maintaining the strong relationship we have built together.
Please join us in thanking the The Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone team for their support of the Sligo Chess and Culture Festival.
